HRD Antwerp offers diamond grading services at Hong Kong trade show

03 march 2017
HRD Antwerp has offered its diamond grading services to participants of the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show at the AsiaWorld-Expo, says a report in JNA.
A demonstration of HRD Antwerp’s M-Screen+ Automated Melee Screening Device will also be held during the show.
The device, described as HRD Antwerp’s “super-fast screening device,” automatically feeds, screens and sorts round diamonds from 0.005 carat to 0.20 carat at a speed of three diamonds per second. “Depending on the size of the stones and the size of the batch, the speed can be as high as a staggering 15,000 diamonds per hour,” noted HRD Antwerp.
The company is also offering a discounted price for its D-Screen, which it said is the world’s most compact diamond screening device.
