Paola De Luca to deliver 'Future of Diamonds' keynote speech at CARAT+

Paola De Luca, who today is widely recognized as the world's leading expert on jewellery design and jewellery trends, will be conducting a seminar for participants at the premiere edition of the CARAT+ diamond and diamond jewellery show in Antwerp on 8 May, organizing committee reported.
The seminar is entitled "The Future of Diamonds: How Social Changes and the New Consumers are Impacting the Diamond Sector". Her presentation is open to all exhibitors and registered buyers and visitors.
Ms. De Luca is the founder and Creative Director of The Futurist Ltd., which is a trend-forecasting and creative intelligence firm specialising in strategic projects in the luxury and jewellery sectors.
She began career in New York, landing her first job as a designer for Fendi Jewellery and Watches. She later collaborated with leading luxury brands, such as Salvatore Ferragamo, Harry Winston and Swarovski. In 2002, in partnership with the CRU Group of London, she established the TJF Group Ltd., which for a decade focused on research and forecasting for the jewellery industry, launching the unique "TJF Trend book," which became the world's first and most authoritative jewellery trends publication. In 2010 she began a collaboration with Rio Tinto Diamonds as Design Director of its global program.
CARAT+, the new trade show dedicated to the diamond, diamond jewellery and associated services, will take place on May 7 – 9, 2017, in Antwerp Expo.
CARAT+ is a trade show tailored specifically for professional buyers of diamonds and diamond jewellery. It will feature four sectors, namely loose diamonds, branded diamond jewellery, non-branded diamond jewellery, and services for the diamond and diamond jewellery industry. Taking place in Antwerp Expo, entry to the show be restricted exclusively to industry professionals, including diamond and jewellery wholesalers and manufacturers from around the world, and jewellery retailers predominantly from Europe.
