GJC's “Manthan” kick-starts in Mumbai

Manthan, the much awaited Gem & Jewellery Conclave 2018 by the All India Gem Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC) kick-started on 5 April at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai, with the usual fanfare that is associated with a G&J industry event. Industry members from across the country attend the conclave, which has been claimed as India’s biggest conclave on gem and jewellery industry.

Shahnawaz Hussain, Ex-Cabinet Minister and the BJP party spokesperson inaugurated the event, alongside the presence of Nitin Khandelwal, Chairman, GJC; Anantha Padmanaban, Vice Chairman, GJC; GV Sreedhar, IPC, GJC; Manoj Kumar Jha, Convener, Manthan; and Shankar Sen, Joint Convener, Manthan by lighting the auspicious lamp.
The day's event also covered various topics on panel discussions that brought the brightest minds in the industry exchanging ideas and thoughts, making it lively and thought-provoking at the same time. The two-day event promises to be a one-of-a-kind initiative, which will provide insights to Indian jewellers on how to grow their businesses in a sustainable manner.
