At the end of 2017, stars of basketball and acrobatic rock‘n’roll visited Mirny, Aikhal and Udachny within ALROSA’s partnership with the VTB United League and All Russian Federation of Dance Sports and Acrobatic Rock'n'Roll (FDSARR). Recently, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) held the first official rating tournament of acrobatic rock’n’roll for the Cup of ALROSA.
Having received positive feedback from the participants and seeing the great involvement of employees, ALROSA decided to develop the experience of sports and cultural events in Yakutia with the participation of prominent athletes and artists.
“Social projects are one of ALROSA's priorities. The company seeks to provide decent working conditions for its employees and their families and to develop the social infrastructure of Yakutia. Supporting sports is one of the key aspects of this work. The company regularly organizes sports events and sports sections for adults and children. In partnership with the sports federations of Russia, we also strive to ensure the organization of mass events for the inhabitants of the region. This is an opportunity to see live famous athletes, get new knowledge and impressions, inspire someone to go in for sports, make this affordable and promote a healthy lifestyle among people,” ALROSA CEO Sergey Ivanov said.
