Brian Land quits the post of Executive Director at CJA

19 december 2018
news_19122018_brian_land.pngBrian Land has recently left the role of Executive Director at the Canadian Jewellers Association (CJA) following the completion of his scheduled 18-months contract, says the press note from CJA.
The move is a part of the company’s strategy of a transition of its management personnel.
“Brian Land was engaged primarily to assist in managing the amalgamation of the Canadian Jewellers Association with Jewellers Vigilance Canada,” said Marco Miserendino, Chairman of the CJA Board of Directors. “The knowledge and skill he brought to that file was of great assistance. The successful completion of that assignment now enables both Brian and the Association to determine and pursue their respective future directions.”
Land will continue working for the Association as a freelance writer. Carla Adams, currently a Manager at CJA, will take the duties of the Executive Director on an interim basis. CJA intends to find Land’s successor by mid-January, 2019.
CJA is the national trade association comprised of retailers and suppliers. It provides goods and services linked to the industry.
