The bi-annual Dubai Diamond Conference has begun at the JAFZA One Convention Centre.
The one-day diamond conference is taking place under the theme, “Thriving Under Pressure: Navigating the New Global Paradigms.”
Organised by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), the conference serves as a vital platform to address the most pressing issues impacting the diamond industry.
De Beers chief executive Al Cook will give a keynote speech.
The conference is part of the first-ever Dubai Diamond Week.
A Kimberley Process plenary session and the JGT Dubai jewellery, gemstones and technology trade show will also be convened in Dubai this week.
