Russian diamond mining company ALROSA has begun preparing an annual sustainability report in accordance with the international GRI Standards and the principles of the UN Global Compact.
The company invites stakeholders - from investors and shareholders to diamond buyers and local community representatives - to take part in the survey and evaluate the topics of the 2024 report according to a number of proposed criteria.
Every year, ALROSA compiles a list of significant topics that it then covers in sustainability reports. To do so, the company analyses its activities and supply chains for the reporting period, global and industry challenges in the field of sustainable development, the standard requirements for the preparation of non-financial reporting, ESG rating methods and the practices of peer companies.
Stakeholders may take part in the survey until January 31, 2025 inclusive.
