Gemhouse company launches Jemora Gemhouse, an innovative auction house in Dubai that will focus on exclusive buyers and rare colored gemstones.
According to a press release, Jemora Gemhouse (JGH), led by Dev Shetty and his team, aims to redefine the gemstone market by bridging the gap between colored gemstone owners and an exclusive network of buyers.
Jemora Gemhouse aims to offer collectors, luxury brands and trading partners access to the most exquisite, rare and valuable polished colored gemstone collections in the world.
The first auction is scheduled for March 17-19, 2025, at the Dubai Diamond Exchange. The auction will feature a collection of sapphires of different colors and grades, including blue, pink, yellow, and padparadscha (pinkish-orange) from Kashmir, Madagascar, and Sri Lanka.
Going forward, the auction organizers plan to auction other rare and high-valued colored gemstones, such as ruby, emerald, alexandrite, Paraiba tourmaline, and spinel.
According to a statement from Jemora Gemhouse, the auction house will provide potential buyers with exclusive access to a dedicated platform where they can connect with owners of unique and premium-colored gemstones in a curated environment. Each gemstone is certified by leading laboratories, including AGL, GRS, Gübelin, and SSEF, which guarantees authenticity and quality, the auction house noted.
