The annual Investing in African Mining Indaba, the world’s largest gathering of influential stakeholders in the African mining industry, has begun in Cape Town, South Africa.
The 2025 conference will celebrate Mining Indaba's 31st anniversary.
The Indaba kick-started with a ministerial symposium on Sunday, which took place under the theme of this year’s event “Building a unified African value chain: Enhancing best practice.”
The organisers of the event said attendees would have access to several networking events to help them conet with key players in the African mining sector.
De Beers chief executive Al Cook is one of the speakers.
More than 9,500 delegates and 450 mining companies attended the conference last year.
