International Diamond Laboratory (IDL) Dubai, which provides jewells grading and reporting services in the region, is now under new ownership.
Founder and owner of IDL Dubai Peter Meeus has handed over the company's ownership to Shaunak Shastree and Francesco Natale.
“It has been an honour to have been involved with IDL Dubai since its inception in 2006 and contribute to the thriving precious jewels community in this region which has undergone tremendous changes with Dubai’s exponential growth,” said Meeus.
“I am happy to pass the baton to Shaunak and Francesco, who both with their extensive experience and passion for the industry, will successfully steer IDL into an even brighter future. I wish them and the entire IDL team all the very best.”
Natale had been the chief gemologist and lab director at IDL for 16 years and Shastree has worked in senior leadership positions with some of the most reputed organisations in the precious jewellery industry.
“We are thrilled and honoured to take the helm at International Diamond Laboratory Dubai,” Shastree and Natale said in a joint statement.
