The company detected the breach and immediately implemented containment measures to protect its network and data.

Eastplats has engaged cybersecurity experts to investigate the incident's scope and implement remedial actions.

The company confirms its mining and processing operations have continued without disruption throughout the event.

The security breach resulted in unauthorised disclosure of certain internal corporate files. Eastplats is currently reviewing these documents to ensure compliance with legal obligations and protect its commercial interests.

The company has reported the incident to appropriate authorities while focusing on strengthening its data security systems.
