Valterra Platinum, formerly Anglo American Platinum (Amplats), has appointed Deborah Gudgeon and Thoko Mokgosi-Mwantembe as independent non-executive directors, marking a significant enhancement of its board leadership and governance structure.
The new appointments bring valuable expertise and diverse perspectives to the boardroom as the company prepares for its secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange.
With these additions, the board now comprises eleven independent non-executive directors and two executive directors, achieving an optimal balance of skills, experience, and independent oversight.
Valterra mines, smelts and refines platinum group metals (PGMs) and associated co-products from its operations located in South Africa and Zimbabwe.
