Russian diamond mining company AGD Diamonds has produced its first large gem-quality diamond in 2025. The 109.28-carat stone was mined at the V. Grib diamond deposit.
In October 2024, the company unearthed a 117.86-carat diamond at the project, and in January of the same year - a 54.27-carat stone which was named in honour of the 440th anniversary of Arkhangelsk. The V. Grib diamond deposit is located in the Arkhangelsk region of Russia.
Earlier this month, AGD Diamonds has reported a solid performance in the first half of 2025 with a steady growth in key production areas compared to the same period of last year.
In 2024, production at the V. Grib deposit exceeded the annual guidance and amounted to 4.14 million carats of diamonds.
