Goldstone Resources has announced continued positive progress at its Homase mine in Ghana, with 355.6 ounces of gold poured during the week commencing August 18.
The company also reported advancements in its expansion plans for the heap-leach operation in south-western Ghana.
Civil engineering designs are now complete, and the company is awaiting the final construction permit. Key materials, including a geotextile and geomembrane liner, have been ordered and paid for, with delivery anticipated by the end of September.
Operationally, Goldstone remains focused on achieving a target of stacking 48,000 tonnes of agglomerated ore per month.
This effort, combined with the planned move back into the higher-grade Pit 1, is expected to sustain the company's production profile through the remainder of the year.

“While the pace has been slower than we would have hoped, operations and gold production remain on a positive trajectory and we are all fully aligned and committed to delivering on our production goals.”
