Signet Jewelers beats Q2 estimates, raises full-year guidance

Signet Jewelers, positioning itself as the world’s largest diamond jewelry retailer, reported strong second-quarter fiscal 2026 results that beat initial estimates.

For the 13 weeks ended Aug. 2, revenue rose 3% year over year to $1.53 billion, beating the $1.50 billion consensus. Same-store sales rose 2%, with combined sales growth of 5% across its Kay Jewelers, Zales, and Jared brands. Adjusted operating income rose more than 20% as operating margins widened to 5.6% from 4.6% last year. Average retail unit sales increased 9%, driven by 4% growth in bridal and 12% growth in apparel.

Confident in its results, Signet raised its full-year guidance to sales in the range of $6.67 billion to $6.82 billion, up from $6.57 billion to $6.80 billion previously. For the third quarter, Signet expects revenue in the range of $1.34 billion to $1.38 billion, with adjusted operating profit in the range of $3 million to $17 million. Same-store sales are expected to be down 0.75% to up 1.75%.
