Sarine Technologies, a diamond and gemstone technology developer, has named Tzafrir Engelhard its new CEO to replace the outgoing director David Block from July 1, 2026.
According to Sarine’s press service, Engelhard has been working at the company for almost 20 years in various leadership and operational roles, with latest being the vice president of business development. He also served as the managing director of the group's Indian subsidiary.
Sarine’s executive chairman of the board Daniel Glinert said that the top management has made a decision to select a new CEO from within the group's ranks, and made its choice among several qualified vice presidents.
"The selection reached is actually one of a broad consensus. We have complete confidence in Tzafrir’s capabilities, and the board will support him to the utmost to ensure continuity, stability and long-term growth," Glinert noted.
As per the company’s press service, what Engelhard brings to the table is the extensive understanding of the industry across the entire value chain, particularly the midstream and downstream segments, as well as broad experience and an intimate knowledge of Sarine’s operations, its values, personnel, customers and stakeholders.
