Jewelry pieces that belonged to Italian film star Claudia Cardinale, including iconic Bulgari Serpenti bracelet watch in turquoise enamel and gold, is up for auction at Christie's.
The auction's highlight will be a 1960s Bulgari Serpenti watch in turquoise enamel and gold, part of the iconic snake-inspired watch line, featuring pear-shaped sapphires for eyes. Their estimated value is between $162,000 and $270,000.
Three Bvlgari rings are also up for auction: one with a 30-carat ruby ($86,400 - $108,000), a second, known as the Trombino, with an emerald ($64,800 - $86,400), and a third with a star-shaped sapphire ($54,000 - $86,400).
The jewelry is among 20 lots from the Cardinale collection at an online jewelry auction in Paris, which will take place from June 16 to 26.
Also up for sale is a Buccellati jewelry set, estimated at $16,200 - $27,000, a gold Van Cleef & Arpels powder compact ($16,200 - $27,000), and a Cartier Tank watch ($8,640 - $10,800).
Claudia Cardinale became a symbol of European cinema in the 1960s, appearing in over 150 films alongside such actors as David Niven, Burt Lancaster, John Wayne, Rock Hudson, Lee Marvin, and Omar Sharif. She died last September at the age of 87.
