Russia-based JSC Anabar Diamonds plans to extract 2.522 million carats of diamonds and 315.2 kg of gold in 2026, said the company's CEO Alexey Okorokov.
"We are approaching this season with rock mass processing volumes at 107.6% [compared to guidance]. To ensure the successful achievement of the set tasks, we have carried out preparatory measures: we have updated our fleet of mining and auxiliary equipment and purchased the necessary spare parts for the equipment maintenance," he said.
In 2025, Almaz Anabara mined more than 3 million carats of diamonds and 205 kg of gold as by-product.
Anabar Diamonds (Almazy Anabara), part of the diamond mining group ALROSA, is the world’s largest alluvial diamond miner. It produces about 4% of the world's diamond output by volume, while its contribution to ALROSA's total production is 11%.
Anabar Diamonds produces diamonds in the Anabar, Olenek, Bulun uluses and in the Mirny district of Yakutia.
