Petra Diamonds to issue 19.2 million shares to settle $13m bond coupon

Petra Diamonds has made an application to the London Stock Exchange for the admission of more than 19,2 million new ordinary shares to settle the June 2026 coupon payment of $13 million due to bondholders under the Notes.

The coupon, which carries an interest rate of 11.5% per annum, will be paid in shares at 50p per share, in accordance with the terms of the 2025 refinancing announced on 4 December 2025.

The exchange rate applied for the conversion was 1 GBP = 0.7441 USD.

Following admission, the company's share capital will consist of 354,640,773 ordinary shares of 0.05 pence each with voting rights, none of which are held in treasury.

This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for calculations to determine if they are required to notify of an interest in the company under the disclosure guidance and transparency rules.
