Zarubezhneft” and ALROSA signed an Agreement of intent for the joint development of three gas fields in Yamalo-Nenets district, Rough&Polished were reported at press office of the diamond mining company.
On January 27, 2012 OJSC “Zarubezhneft” and OJSC “ALROSA” signed an Agreement of intent stipulating the joint development of three gas and gas-condensate fields in the north-western part of Purovsky district, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District: Beregovoy, Ust-Yamsoveysky and Urengoysky.
CJSC “Geotransgaz” and LLC “Urengoy Gas Company” owned by “ALROSA” are the license holders for the above gas fields.
To become a part of the project, “Zarubezhneft” intends to purchase blocking stakes in the authorized capital of the license holders from ALROSA.
The Agreement was signed by ALROSA’s President Fyodor Andreev and General Director of OJSC “Zarubezhneft” Nikolay Brunich. In the near future experts of “Zarubezhneft” will start analyzing and assessing these assets.
