Israeli Diamond Company Recognized for Industry Talent

16 july 2012

Yitzhak (Itzik) Polnauer of Leibish & Co, an Israeli diamond company specializing in fancy colored diamonds, has made the shortlist of the ‘Young Leader of the Year’ (age 30 or below) category in the prestigious JNA Awards. A total of twenty-five entries from seventeen companies made the shortlist of the JNA Awards, which recognizes and promotes excellence in the gemstone and jewelry industry, Israelidiamond.co.il reported.
One of the most important goals Itzik set was exposing the world of fancy color diamonds to those that had no previous access and for those that were not even aware that fancy colors existed, explains Benji Margolese, company marketing and content manager for Leibish & Co. “Through Itzik's direction, the portal of fancy color education and information was created and continued to be spread to both the beginners and experts in the trade. He changed the approach of Leibish & Co.'s website from a regular e-commerce market to a website that combines both e-commerce and an educational center for the fancy color diamond world,” says Margolese.
The awards ceremony will be held on the sidelines of the September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair. The Israel Diamond Institute is a JNA Awards 2012 partners, together with Rio Tinto, Chow Tai Fook, Robert Wan Tahiti, and the Shanghai Diamond Exchange.
