The 55-th FENINJER National Industry Fair Jewelry, managed by IBGM - Brazilian Institute of Gems and Precious Metals to be held from 1 to 4 August 2012.
The FENINJER fair has established itself as the largest and most important fair of the sector in Latin America.
International and predominantly commercial character of the event is taken as reference for the entire jewelry fairs. Exhibitors of the fair are the best jewelers from Brazil and abroad, well-known brands, suppliers of equipment, tools and related companies for jewelry industry.
Every year the event attracts hundreds of participants representing the world's jewelry, retail and manufacturing companies, as well mining industry.
Brazil, being the eighth largest economy in the world, fifth-largest country, is directed to take a leading position in the global jewelry industry. Brazil has all necessary conditions, such as a rich variety of natural resources, deposits of more than 100 gemstones. The prompt initiative at the international level is becoming as important factor in the development and growth of the Brazilian gem sector around the world. More than 15,000 companies work in Brazilian jewelry sector.
From 1984 FENINJER is traditionally held twice a year at the Exhibition Center «Transamerica Expo Center» in a beautiful multimillion city Sao Paulo. The business program of fair will include industry seminars, conferences and lectures.
Brazilian Institute of Gems and Precious Metals IBGM is the Brazilian representative at the International Confederation CIBJO. Since 1977 IBGM represents the entire production chain in the gems and jewelry industry, including mining and cutting of precious stones, manufacturing of precious metals and jewelry. The main centers are based in São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Bahia, Rio Grande do Sul, Parana, Goias, Federal District and Amazon.
IBGM is making efforts to become exhibition as effective tool for business promotion for both participants and visitors. Clearly, the creativity of Brazilian masters will be able to gain renown and popularity of the brand "Made in Brazil" and demonstrate a high technical level in jewelry sector in the world.
