Jewellery Retail in Saint Petersburg

Alexander Smirnov, a former co-owner of “585” jewellery retail chain, did not place his stake on the established brand after separation of business. Alternatively he proceeded with proactive development of his own trade marks, Russian Jewellery Network reported citing The Morning News.
By the present time Alexander Smirnov has successfully launched three new jewellery brands –S&F, “YOU!” and TheGold.
The first retail locations under the new brands were opened in Saint Petersburg in August of 2012. At present time a total of nine jewellery showrooms are operating in the city.
The company has launched 37 retail stores located in Saint Petersburg, Velikiy Novgorod, as well as Central, Povolzhye, Ural, South and Siberian Regions of Russia.
“585” Ltd. mulls opening 50 more retail spots on the territory of Russia till the end of 2012. The new brands were developed by international research group TNS and Fitch branding agency based in London.
Brand “YOU!” is tailored for the youth audience with average or below average revenue. Brand TheGold is positioned within the same price segment but oriented at elder consumers.
Jewellery production offered at S&F stores is destined for consumers with average and upscale income. At present time the company has 244 stores and 29 pawnshops.
