Namakwa Diamonds said it realised revenues of about $1.7 million from a tender of rough diamonds mined at its South African subsidiaries.
The tender ran between 19 and 22 November.
Namakwa said in a statement that 3,163 carats were sold at an average price of $537 per carat, with an average stone size of 0.47 carats.
"The South African production continues to perform to expectation and revenues derived are key in establishing a core revenue base for the Company as a whole," said company chief executive Theo Botoulas.
Namakwa maintained alluvial mining operations in the North West Province of South Africa as well as resource-development and exploration assets in the Northern Cape Province.
It also had an offshore project in Namibia and Kao Mine in Lesotho, which is its flagship project.
