Over 250 Israel Diamond Companies Already Registered for August Diamond Week

06 june 2013

Due to many spaces already being filled, the registration deadline for Israel's upcoming U.S. / International Diamond Week will be moved up significantly, Israelidiamond.co.il reports. The deadline for Israeli firms to sign up for the late August confab, which was originally August 4, has been changed to the Summer Solstice, June 21. This leaves Israeli diamond companies with just over two weeks to sign up for the event; the deadline for international firms remains unchanged.
The decision to move up the registration deadline for the confab was taken after 260 Israel diamond companies, including twenty large firms, confirmed their participation in short order. Online registration will continue up until June 21, but in-person registration will end on June 20, since the 21st of the month is a Friday and the Israel Diamond Exchange will be closed.
The U.S. / International Diamond Week, to take place from August 26 to 29, will give all companies, large and small, an equal footing to ply their wares. The first U.S. / International Diamond Week, held in March, was a resounding success.
