Krastsvetmet Mulls Profits to Duplicate by 2025

Board of Directors of OJSC Krastsvetmet recently approved the company’s development strategy till 2025. CEO of Krastsvetmet Mikhail Dyagilev commented the main parameters and aspects of the development program to Krasnoyarsk-based media, cited by Russian Jewellery Network.
Krastsvetmet’s strategy provides for growth of annual volume of processed minerals by 70%, with platinum group metals production to rise by 27%, gold production – to jump by 55% and silver production almost doubling (+95%). According to the statement by the company’s CEO, by 2025 gold refinery production will be expanded to 150 tonnes, platinum group metals production to reach 154 tonnes, silver production expected at 1,100 tonnes.
Krastsvetmet’s jewellery sales are expected to jump by 103%, sales of technical items made of platinum group metals to expand by 97% and silver products sales poised to grow by 136%.
By 2018 Krastsvetmet plans to launch new refinery complex within the project aimed at reconstruction of refinery production units.
Last year the company embarked on construction of laboratory and research complex to accommodate scientific and technology center and a laboratory, reconstruction of refinery production and processing complex, as well as implementation of program for non-waste production and enhancing energy efficiency. Commissioning of this object is scheduled in 2016.
The total investments required for implementation of the above measures stipulated in the strategy are estimated at RUB 13.6 billion.
By 2025 Krastsvetmet intends to post growth of revenue to RUB 51 billion and net profit of RUB 3.1 billion.
Following the results of the first half of 2013 Krastsvetmet revenue reached RUB 9.31 billion and net profit amounted to RUB 0.75 billion.
