The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) will be offering up to four free nights to accredited buyers in one of the venue hotels of the US & International Diamond Week in Israel, to be held April 6 to 10.
The arrangement aims to lower the threshold and to attract more interested buyers to this exclusive diamond buying event, IDE announced.
As with the previous editions of this unique diamond buying platform, the US & International Diamond Week will feature more than $1 billion of polished diamonds on the IDE trading floor, displayed by hundreds of participating Israeli diamond manufacturing and trading firms.
Moti Fluk, the chairman of the Diamond Week organizing committee, said that the IDE board's decision to once again offer this valuable service to arriving buyers will be an important boost toward registration. "There will be a huge variety of goods for sale on the trading floor, from cheap goods to very exclusive and more expensive goods, in all shapes and sizes."
"We're confident that the upcoming US & International Diamond Week will strengthen business relationships between American and Israeli diamond traders," stated Reuven Kaufman, the president of Diamond Dealers Club of New York.
