Within the scope of exhibition Jewellery Salon of Siberia slated on 24-27 April 2014 in Krasnoyarsk, at the exhibition center "Siberia" a contest of jewellery design will be organized featuring sketches of jewellery masters, Russian Jewellery Network reported.
The contest has been held since 2010 among jewellery masters of Siberia and it was established in order to encourage and recognize contribution of individuals and businesses to development of jewellery industry in Siberia.
“Our contest is aimed at enhancing craftsmanship of jewellers and designers in the creation of highly valued jewellery art as well as promotion of sharing experience among jewellers. Works of jewellers will help to maintain and develop jewellery traditions of Siberia and identify talented authors. And most importantly, the contest strengthens position and status of Siberian jewellery manufacturers,” - said organizer of the contest Catherine Zheleyko.
Following the three editions the competition has gained popularity among jewellers of East Siberian region, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Tomsk and Novosibirsk.
