National Bank of Belarus Resumes Purchases and Sales of Certified Diamonds in Full Starting from September
Repurchases of diamonds previously sold by the National Bank were temporarily suspended in October 2012 due to the changes in the National Bank structure and corresponding adjustments of some laws and regulations.
Meanwhile, sales of certified polished diamonds were mainly effected from the stocks remaining in the Bank’s cash departments.
The information on the mix of diamonds, their prices and sales offices can be found on the official web-site of the Belarus National Bank in the 'Sale-Purchase Prices for Certified Diamonds' section (available in Belarusian and Russian).
Purchasing (repurchasing) of diamonds certified by the National Bank is carried out on last Monday of each month.
