"Diamond Week of Yakutia" event started in the city of Yakutsk with the opening of exhibition of exclusive jewelry.
International rough diamonds auction is scheduled as a part of the event that is held in Yakutia for the third time and this year ends on September, 7th.
Organizer pointed out the activity of Chinese and Japanese participating investors. Representatives of US private business also take part in the "Diamond Week".
Russian and foreign jewelleries present their production on various exhibitions and clearance sales with significant discounts.
The quests of Yakutia will be able to visit the "heart" of this diamond land, that is open-pit mine on kimberlite pipe Mir. Also they can visit diamond sorting center, Kimberlite Museum, History and Production Museum of ALROSA in the town of Mirny. Besides visitors are invited to see diamond lapidary plant and take part in "the Diamond Ball" in Triump sport center in Yakutsk.
