The cargo turnover of the Murmansk Sea Fishing Port increased by almost 40% in the first 7 months of the year

In the first seven months of 2022, the total cargo turnover of the Murmansk Sea Fishing Port amounted to 181,000 tons. Compared to the same period last year, it increased by 39.9% (in 2021 – 51,600 tons). The growth of cargo turnover in the first seven months of 2022 reached 136,000 tons, which is 21.3% more than in the same period last year (112,000 tons)."The growth of cargo turnover is due to a number of factors, the key of which is strict compliance with the standards of work with incoming vessels. We are trying to improve performance in all areas, whether it is the speed of loading and unloading operations, provision of electricity, water, and so on. We are confident that the growth will continue further," commented the head of the transshipment complex of the fishing port, Eduard Malashenkov.
