(arctic-news.ru) - The Expert Center of the Project Office for Arctic Development (PORA) is conducting a study on labor migration in the Arctic. This study will allow to learn a lot about trends in the development of job vacancies for residents of the northernmost regions of Russia.

Alexander Stotsky, General Director of the Expert Center, commented on the goals of the study: “We evaluate various socio-psychological factors, for example, whether the current work corresponds to the “ideal, life's work” and whether separation from family and native places is easily tolerated. In addition, we are studying the adaptability, taking root in the Arctic, which is important for building various demographic approaches in the North, as well as keeping professionals on the territory, representatives of specialties that are especially important for the Arctic".
