Norilskgazprom received a license for the subsoil use of the Severo-Vareysky-3 site

22 december 2022
Norilskgazprom has participated in auctions for the right to use the subsoil of three gas-bearing sites located on the territory of the Tazovsky District of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, sgnorilsk.ru reported.
According to the results of the auction, the daughter of Norilsk Nickel received the right to use the subsoil plot North-Vareysky-3. The other two went to Lukoil – Western Siberia LLC. The one-time payment for the plot amounted to 23 million rubles.
The purpose of the license issued to Norilskgazprom for 25 years is geological exploration, exploration and production of hydrocarbon raw materials: oil, gas and condensate. The plot area is 615 sq km.
There are no open fields on the site, oil resources are estimated at 8 million tons, gas – 73 billion cubic meters, condensate – 7 million million tons.
Within seven years, the company must carry out a complex of works on the study of the subsurface of  its site, while in the first year it will draw up a geological project, on the basis of which seismic exploration and drilling of at least one deep exploration and evaluation well will be carried out in the future.
It is assumed that the well will be built west of the Soleninsky fields.
Norilskgazprom has previously acquired new special equipment for work at the Severo-Soleninsky and Yuzhno-Soleninsky gas fields.
