NOVATEK will provide electricity to two Arctic LNG 2 lines

NOVATEK has found a solution to provide electricity to the first and second stages of the Arctic LNG 2 project, Chairman of the Management Board of the company Leonid Mikhelson told reporters.
The project provides for the construction of three technological lines for the production of liquefied natural gas with a total capacity of 19.8 million tons per year and stable gas condensate up to 1.6 million tons per year.
According to Michelson, the first line is planned to be launched at the end of 2023.
The project is based on an innovative construction concept using gravity-type foundations. The operator of the project and the owner of all assets is Arctic LNG 2 LLC.
The resource base of the Arctic LNG 2 project is the Morning field, located on the Gydan Peninsula in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, about 70 km from the Yamal LNG project through the Ob Bay.
