Chinese investor bought half of the Power of Yakutia company
Previously, Alexey Kravchenko, a businessman from St. Petersburg, was the owner of 100% of the shares. Now the company belongs to him and Duan on a parity basis.
In 2024-2028, the Power of Yakutia plans to build an 8 GW gas power plant in Yakutia (for 494.5 billion rubles) and an 800 kV ultra-high voltage transmission line (for 374.8 billion rubles) for exporting electricity to China.
The site for the construction of the station is located in the city of Lensk (about 840 km from Yakutsk). The power line will stretch from the station in Lensk to Blagoveshchensk, which is located near the northern part of Heilongjiang Province (China). The length of the line will be 1.800 km.
The company has chosen divisions of the Chinese state-owned company Sinohydro Corporation as a contractor for the implementation of projects.
The Power of Yakutia was registered in October 2022 in Yakutsk with an authorized capital of 10.000 rubles.
