Port workers of the Polar transport branch of Norilsk Nickel to be trained online
"Our main provider of training is Norilsk Nickel’s Corporate University. It is not always possible to take employees to Norilsk for training and exams due to the weather. In this regard, we decided to transfer the training to the distance format as much as possible and take exams in Dudinka," Myznikov explained.
The Polar Transport Branch already has such an experience – this year there were attempts to pass exams using the Proctoring service. In addition, for the certification of port workers on industrial safety in Dudinka the enterprise is given access to the Rostechnadzor portal – it is no longer necessary to travel to Norilsk and Krasnoyarsk for this purpose.
Norilsk Nickel’s Corporate University trains an average of 50,000 people annually. The company's own academy has over 700 programs. Of these more than 500 are aimed at training, retraining and advanced training of workers. The rest are intended for managers and specialists. Training programs, depending on changes in the company, are constantly updated, ttelegraf.ru reports.
