Corporate project on the professional succession of generations at Norilsk Nickel

On the initiative of Larisa Zelkova, Senior Vice President - Head of the HR, Social Policy and Public Relations Unit at Norilsk Nickel, the company is implementing a corporate project of the Norilsk Nickel Dynasty.
Its purpose is to maintain and strengthen relations between representatives of different generations in the family and society, public recognition of the merits of families whose activities have influenced the development of the company, strengthening the prestige of working professions and professional continuity of generations, sgnorilsk.ru reports.
Now 192 labor dynasties work in Norilsk Nickel, all together they number 704 people. Members of 77 dynasties work at different enterprises, 115 – at one. The largest number of dynasties work in LLC Norilsknikelremont – 17 families, 11 families each work in LLC Medvezhy Ruchey and at the Taimyrsky mine.
"Dynasties are families in which at least three generations continue the work of their parents, follow in their footsteps, pass on professional skills from generation to generation, build their lives and careers thanks to Norilsk Nickel," said Natalia Gladkaya, Acting Deputy Head of the Corporate Projects Department of the Polar Branch of Norilsk Nickel. 
"For Norilsk Nickel the prestige of working professions and the development of professional continuity of generations is one of the key tasks. It is important that the companies know about the unique families and take their example as a model. They deserve recognition and attention, as they are one of the foundations of any enterprise."
Norilsk Nickel will honor its most active and talented dynasties during a gala evening to be held in November this year.
