The Glavgosexpertiza of Russia issued a positive review on project development of the Severo-Urengoyskoye gas field, the press service of the department reports.
"Production facilities will be comprehensively automated. This will allow the technological process to be carried out remotely without the constant presence of maintenance personnel on the site," said Alexey Trenin, the chief expert of the project.
The ministry noted that the documentation proposes the development of five wells as well as the construction of overhead power lines and two pipelines.
The facilities will be equipped with automated systems that will make it possible to control temperature, pressure and other critical indicators. The construction work will last for two years.
