The Norilsk Nickel Company handed over two 40-foot refrigerated containers to the Kumak Kytyl (Sandy Beach) family and ancestral community for free. They are used for storage and transportation of fish and deer meat.
Refrigerators were installed on the shore of Norilka, and not only Kumak Kytyl, but also all interested communities will be able to use them.
The transfer of refrigerated containers was the next step in the implementation of Norilsk Nickel's five-year program to support the indigenous peoples of the North. In a number of projects of the program, the Arctic Development Project Office acts as the operator, the press service of Norilsk Nickel reported.
