Researchers recorded live speech of representatives of indigenous small-numbered peoples of the Far North on digital media.
The staff of the UNESCO Department of the Northeastern Federal University recorded the speech of 23 people representing the Nenets, Nganasan, Dolgan, Evenki and Enets peoples, nia14.ru reports.
The expedition to Taimyr was organized as part of an agreement between the Taimyr College and the UNESCO Department of Northeastern Federal University on cooperation under the Arctic Council project "Digitalization of the linguistic and cultural heritage of the indigenous peoples of the Arctic".
