Construction of the third production line of the Arctic LNG-2 project has begun in the Murmansk Region, according to the governor of the region Andrey Chibis.
According to him, 1,700 cubic meters of concrete have already been poured and 1,500 tons of rebar have been installed.
"The Center for the Construction of large-tonnage offshore structures from NOVATEK Murmansk is assembling unique natural gas liquefaction plants on gravity-type bases," Chibis said.
The Arctic LNG-2 project involves the construction of three liquefied natural gas production lines with a capacity of 6.6 million tons per year.
