Russian authorities publish a book on mainstay settlements in the Russian Arctic

The book "Mainstay settlements - the foundation of the Russian Arctic" contains information about 16 strategically important Arctic cities for the country.

The publication provides a detailed description of each reference settlement, its role in the development of the Russian Arctic, key functions, including importance in ensuring national security and the implementation of large infrastructure and logistics projects of macro-regional and federal significance.

Determining the list of key settlements in the Russian Arctic will allow for the accelerated development of the entire region.

The book is available to all users on the website of the Ministry of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk region, 51rus.org reports.
