Alexey Chekunkov, Russian Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, announced an increase in the volume of yearly cargo transportation along the Northern Sea Route (NSR) in the next decade.
According to him, new projects on the NSR will provide a multiplied increase in cargo traffic of over 200 million tons per year.
