Arctic Days to open at the Russia exhibition in Moscow

The Days of the Arctic at the International Exhibition and Forum "Russia" are opening on Tuesday and will last until February 18.

At the opening of the event in the Rosneft pavilion, representatives of the company and leading Russian scientists will tell visitors about scientific research in the Far North, the ecology of the region and its inhabitants.

Visitors of the pavilion will also learn about modern geophysical research in the Arctic, the study of the ice and natural conditions of the region, biotechnologies based on Arctic microorganisms. In addition, the scientists will talk about the expedition work.

During the Arctic days, thematic quizzes about the Far North and workshops on drawing a polar bear will be held daily for visitors. There will also be a photo exhibition "The Attraction of the Arctic", which presents the best expedition photographs, gazeta.ru reports.
