State Duma voted for the expansion of the Arctic zone in the second and third readings, TASS reported.

According to the amendments to the law "On State Support for Entrepreneurial Activity in the Arctic Zone" adopted by parliamentarians, two municipal districts of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Berezovsky and Beloyarsk - now belong to the Arctic.

It is expected that the inclusion of these areas in the Arctic zone will make them attractive to investors and developers.
