The “Mikhail Somov” scientific expedition vessel returned to Arkhangelsk which was its first voyage aimed at providing hard-to-reach stations of Roshydromet in the Arctic with resources.
The vessel delivered almost 600 tons of vital cargo to 20 polar stations on the coast and islands of the White and Barents Seas.
A total of 20 volunteers from several regions of Russia took part in the voyage and carried out cleaning in four Arctic territories – Zimnegorsky Mayak, Morzhovets, Kanin Nos and Kolguev, flagman-news.ru reports.
