The production of diesel fuel for the Arctic, which can be used at temperatures up to -52 degrees Celsius, will begin in October at the Surgut condensate stabilization plant of Gazprom Refining.
Currently, small batches of low-temperature fuel are produced according to consumer orders. But already in October 2024, the first industrial batch will be released. To date, the plant produces three types of diesel fuel. But they can only be used at temperatures from -38 to -44 degrees.
Surgut condensate stabilization plant is the largest processing enterprise in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District with a capacity of up to 12 million tons per year, reprussia.ru reports.
