"Given that lithium mining will be carried out on the territory of the Murmansk region, we are extremely interested in a full production cycle. The implementation of the project is critically important from the point of view of localization on the territory of the Russian Federation of the entire technological chain for the creation of batteries for various industries," the head of the region wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to Chibis, the project fully meets the goals outlined in the presidential decree "On National Development Goals of the Russian Federation" in terms of achieving technological leadership and ensuring technological independence and the formation of markets for new materials, b-port.com reports.
