A round table on the topic "Cooperation of the indigenous peoples of the Arctic" was held at the House of Friendship of Peoples in Yakutsk, ysia.ru reports.
The event was held as part of the second stage of the All-Russian competitive educational program "Indigenous peoples of Russia. The School of Public Diplomacy".
Following the results of the program, the finals featuring 15 participants will be held in October this year at MGIMO.
"We will select two winners from the finalists who will receive grants for continuing education. They will be able to choose any university in Russia and enroll in MBA master's programs. The grants will cover the cost of tuition. All 15 finalists will also receive educational mini-grants. They will be able to take English language courses, for example, or courses related to topics that they are interested in," said Alexey Tsykarev, Program Director.
