Experts will discuss international cooperation, solving key problems of developing northern territories and preparing infrastructure for the Northern Sea Route at the International Arctic Forum "Arctic - Territory of Dialogue."

The Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Alexey Chekunkov noted that a draft business program has been prepared, which provides for several key topics: development of the Northern Sea Route, attracting investments and developing the resource base, improving the quality of life of people, infrastructure and technology, education and personnel, international cooperation, indigenous peoples of the North.

"Today, the main international platform for cooperation on sustainable development of the region - the Arctic Council - has practically suspended its work. This means that we need to select new forms of interaction," said Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far East, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Forum Yury Trutnev.
